Family & Community Partnerships

Centre Walgwan's services

Walgwan center provides services to First Nations and Inuit youth experiencing challenges related to substance use, mental health, trauma, and overall wellbeing.

Family & Community Partnerships

Healing is strongest when families and communities walk alongside youth.

Whenever appropriate, families, caregivers, Elders, and community partners are actively involved throughout the healing journey to strengthen relationships and support successful reintegration.

Our partnerships include:
  • Family meetings
  • Care conferences
  • Community collaboration
  • Reintegration planning
  • Referrals and resource navigation
  • Ongoing communication with community service providers
